Belbin Team Role Workshops
Through using the Belbin Team Roles model we can better understand how team members tend to behave, contribute and interrelate with each other. Belbin Team Roles describe a pattern of behaviour that characterises one person's behaviour in relationship to another in facilitating the progress of a team. Horizons Unlimited are "Belbin® Team-Role Accredited", have access to the Belbin Interplace system, and can design and facilitate an interactive workshop guaranteed to develop a better understanding of each team member and their strengths. Team simulations are often used to conclude team building and performance workshops (above), these experiential-based simulations involve several 'business teams' operating in a competitive environment. A team will only be successful if they utilise their understanding of team performance and team roles - providing a great opportunity for participants to apply and re-enforce what they have learnt. Team members can also take turns to manage the 'business' and receive peer feedback on their leadership performance.
Nb: Each of these interventions can be used in independently, in series, and/or can be customised to suit a client's requirements.
